Tell us a bit about yourself, CJ.
Well, right now I’m just traveling like a gypsy living out of my suitcase and moving around to all my favourite cities. I’m Spanish, Creole (French and black) and a little bit Filipino. I was living in L.A. and got the opportunity to model and I just ran with it. The first runway show I did was terrifying – who knew walking could be so difficult, but I didn’t fall and that’s what counts.
If you weren’t modelling, what would you be doing?
I’d be a comedian. I did my first stand-up show at the world famous Comedy Store in L.A.. I love comedy but it’s hard to juggle open mics and stand-up shows with the demanding schedule of doing photoshoots and travelling.
What is your definition of the word “beauty”?
Being kind, loving, warm and empathetic is what makes someone beautiful.
Got any beauty tips and tricks for the ladies?
No make-up is always the best, as well as exfoliating and keeping soft, messy beach hair, and always use lip gloss and mouth wash.
What’s your best physical asset?
I like my feet and so does the Internet!
Who are some of your favourite designers or stores?
OMG! Have you seen that amazing new athleisure line Neon Beige? Sexy yoga pants, tailored geared for chilling or for a girl on the go! And yes, it’s my clothing line.
If you could have lunch with anyone dead or alive, who would it be?
Seth MacFarlane – he is so clever and witty and terrible. I love you!
Do you follow or play any sports?
I have mastered ping pong – how many people can say that?!

I like guys who can make fun of themselves and treat others with respect. I’m pretty silly so I need someone I can be a fool with.
How do you handle the haters?
I love them. They’ll find someone else to hate soon enough.
What’s the craziest thing you have ever done?
Moving out of my apartment to travel the world is pretty crazy and I guess I’m living it.
How would you make this world a better place?
Giving, adding to every situation and loving one another is the best way to start.
Where do you want to be in five years?
I’d love to book a beauty campaign, expand my clothing line Neon Beige and maybe have a store front. I want to have a beautiful home with a yard for my dogs, cuddled up on the couch with my man.
