What were your initial thoughts of The Beard Designer?
It’s a sleek, well-designed gadget and the cutting system is awesome.
Did you find it easy to adjust the cutting lengths?
Yes, very self-explanatory and is easy to adjust through its simple up and down LED display. It was only the matter of pushing one button.

Yep! I always forget what I trimmed my fuzz to last time and this cancels any worries of not getting the look I like to achieve every time I use it.
It features a unique 3D cutting system that can be used with circular cutting motions. Did you find this cutting action easy and comfortable to use?
Absolutely. It continues to comb my beard while cutting it, so gets it nice and even… it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for.
Did you use the Parking and Lock function when you finished using it?
Yes, and this is super handy for when I put it in my toiletry bag to stop it turning on. Jeez I hate when that happens.
Did you use the included dual head finishing trimmer?
Yep. Again, this is another feature of The Beard Designer which is very handy as I like to put those finishing touches around the edges.
Is the li-ion battery feature important to you?
It is because it gives this trimmer longer life and more power behind the cutters to ensure decent cutting and it’s not pulling hairs like other trimmers have done.

What were your initial thoughts of The Beard Designer?
It’s a pretty fancy gadget, with a quality look and I was surprised how well-built it feels. It’s really easy to use, too.
Did you find it easy to adjust the cutting lengths?
Well, I’m a pretty simple guy and I don’t want to be messing around with too many attachments. I just want to do a good job and keep my beard at the right length. With The Beard Designer there’s no tricky attachments to get it going – I can just push a button for the right length and away I go.

Definitely. I like to keep my beard the same length so having this remember my last trim was a godsend.

Yep. On my neck the grain of my hair changes, so with other trimmers I usually have to take more care going up down a few times to make sure I get and even trim. With The Beard Designer I just moved it around in circles, let it do its thing, and it worked a treat.
The Beard Designer also has a smart cleaning system. Did you use it?
Yes. Unlike some other trimmers I’ve used, this one takes a lot less time to clean, it’s easy to operate and there is little fuss. I didn’t even need to use the brush provided.
Did you use the Parking and Lock function when you finished using it?
Yes, and it’s just as useful as the digital lock on my phone. This will come in handy when I’m travelling – at least it won’t be buzzing around in my bag!
The Beard Designer uses a li-ion battery. Is this feature important to you?
This is a big selling point for me – you really need a good battery in any trimmer and the li-ion battery is excellent. I’ve had other trimmers in the past which haven’t had this sort of battery and they have always gone flat quickly.
Did you use the included dual head finishing trimmer?
Of course. Not only is this tool cool for fixing up my around edges, it’s also good when I’m in a rush and need a quick trim.
Were you happy with the results The Beard Designer produced?
Put it this way – I’ve had professional trims from barbers before and seriously, this is just as good. It’s everything I need in a grooming accessory and more.

I’d give it a five, but nothing is perfect. Although, this comes close. And if a friend ever mentioned they wanted a beard trimmer, I’d definitely suggest this one.

I could tell straight away that The Beard Designer was going to help me a lot. It’s completely different to anything I’d used before and its technology is very advanced.

Yes, even if I changed the length slightly, the next time I used it, it was nice to see it adjust itself to the settings I had the previous time I used it. It’s really cool.

Yes, especially to style under the neck and give some definition to my beard edges.
