Tell us a bit about yourself, Yovanna.
Sure. I was born in Miami but moved to Spain with my mother, she is Dominican, for five years when I was seven, then we came back to Miami and that’s when she got me into modelling.
If you weren’t modelling what would you be doing?
I’d probably be studying psychology right now. I’ve always really liked it and will probably study it in the future.
Do your friends have a nickname for you?
Yes, those close to me call me “Yo!”
So, did you enjoy this shoot, Yo?
Yes, it was in Mykonos, Greece and I really enjoyed it because it was my first time in Greece and it was amazingly beautiful — the food the people and just everything was perfect.
What do you do to relax?
It’s pretty simple — I go to the gym or the beach.
Have you ever been to Australia?
Never, but the first thing I think about when I hear the word ‘Australia’ is kangaroos. I would love to see a kangaroo one day.
