Hey, Ellie, welcome back! What have you been doing since your debut MAXIM appearance earlier this year?
Life has been crazy for me since January. I had the launch of my 2013 swimwear line, Incredible Swim, which was huge, I’ve been travelling between Australia and Los Angeles to work with some very talented photographers, as well as representing some really amazing brands.
How did you prepare yourself for your second round of MAXIM cover shooting?
I am so honoured to be on the MAXIM cover for the second time. This shoot was something quite different for me, as I was naked for most of the day! It was fun. I enjoy embracing my body, which I work very hard for.
What’s the most risqué thing you’ve ever done?
So far, it would have to be this shoot. I love being naked and like to walk around the house with no clothes on.
When was the last time you were in your birthday suit in public?
It’s illegal to be naked in public. It’s naughty…
What do you think about when you’re striking sexy poses during a shoot?
I focus on moving my body and being in the moment as much as I can. If you try hard to “be sexy” it can tend to come across looking like the classic deer-in-headlights scenario.
Congrats on making our HOT 100 list last month. Where were you when you found out you’d made the top 10?
It was such a surprise and I was absolutely flattered. I found out, on the day the magazine came out, through a tweet from a friend who had bought his copy at 9am! I still can’t believe I’m in the top 10 with two of my childhood idols. It’s surreal.
How did you celebrate your HOT 100 inclusion?
With the MAXIM Family at the HOT 100 party, of course! What a night. Enough said.
What do you think makes you so hot?
Oh, you know, the sun, heaters, fireplaces… things of that nature.
