Dr. Mercy Li, a former bank executive turned glamour model, reveals her daring exploits in Australia
Tell us a bit about your shoot – where, when, etc…
Thank you Maxim for having me at Outback, Australia. I enjoyed the excitement of adventure during a bold photo shoot, radiating confidence as I struck poses in my favourite daring bra and panties. The rugged terrain provided a breath-taking backdrop, while the vibrant colours of the setting sun bathed my skin in a warm glow. I also enjoyed the warmness from Aussie guys by the distant sounds of wolf whispering at nearer construction workers, the honks of passing trucks. The ogling gazes of truck drivers and workers further enhanced the sensory experience, making me feel both sexy and invigorated.
Give us a little more background about yourself and your life story so far
I am Dr Mercy Li, a Singaporean previously worked as a Public Relations Manager at reputable bank. However, I discovered that the conventional office setting wasn’t suitable for me. My path took an exciting turn into glamour modelling after I was unexpectedly scouted in a lingerie boutique. Having been featured in FHM Australia and Dailystar, I embrace risk as I navigate my dual life while keeping my modelling career concealed from my conservative family. Luckily, my parents are computer illiterate as they do not know that I am working as a glamour model.
Interesting, why didn’t you let your parents know of your modelling career?
Well, I grew up in a conservative Chinese family. I am the only child and living with my elderly parents in Singapore. I can imagine my daddy fall from the chair if he sees my photos in this magazine. So please don’t call me in public if you see me on the street, especially when I am with my parents.
What is your best asset? Physically and otherwise.
I guess my most notable asset is my unique appearance, a result of my Chinese and French heritage. My distinctive looks often leave people guessing about my background, sparking intriguing conversations. Additionally, I possess a playful and imaginative mindset that fosters creativity. Without a doubt, I am not a follower but a trendsetter.
When do you feel sexy and why?
I feel sexy and confident in lingerie with high heels. I love how lingerie is suggestive and shows off my curves without revealing everything. When I went online and posted some photos, I was amazed at the number of guys that were attracted to me! It really is a big ego booster to have people tell you that you look sexy, or hot. Especially at my age. It’s nice to be desired! It also draws attention and I find it hot when I know people are watching me.
What would people be most surprised to know about you?
Well, a lot of people are unaware that I hold a Doctorate in Business and Law. They often assume that “Dr Mercy Li” is just a stage name, so they react with disbelief when I explain that I conferred with doctorate based on my academic accomplishments.
How would you describe yourself in five words?

What’s the first thing you notice when it comes to the opposite gender?
The first things I notice about the opposite gender are their walking style, their eyes, and their body language. Honestly, you can learn a great deal from these cues.
What do you think is the most attractive quality in a man?
I find a man who is confident and assertive, whether in public or private, to be incredibly attractive. I appreciate a dominating and occasionally cocky demeanour, as it reflects a strong character. I can’t deny that my attraction to dominant men may stem from the stereotype that Asian women tend to be more submissive.
What impresses you on a first date?
I believe that the ability to engage in a meaningful conversation is crucial, and that dialogue should be a two-way exchange rather than one-sided. I need to feel a mental connection with you before I can open up and show my true self.
What advice would you give a man?
Be bold enough to do things that scare you. Don’t lie on your deathbed regretting those chances you didn’t take.
Describe your ideal boyfriend/girlfriend in 1 sentence.
My ideal boyfriend is a supportive, kind-hearted partner who encourages my passions, makes me laugh, and prioritizes open communication while also being adventurous and up for trying new things.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
I always felt that giving head gives me a sense of power and control, which might seem contradictory to how some people view fellatio but the sensation I get when I feel a man climaxing in my mouth, the shivers he gets through his body, the moans and grunts and gasps, the clutching of my hair. All of it makes me want to swallow and gives me a sense of closure and completion.

What is something new happening in your life right now?
I am grateful for the opportunity to join Maxim Australia at the beginning of 2025. It marks a fresh and exciting new chapter for me.
How does a man win his way to your heart?
A man can win his way to my heart by demonstrating genuine interest in me, actively listening to my thoughts and feelings, respecting my boundaries, supporting my goals, being kind and considerate, showing appreciation for the little things, and most importantly, being authentically himself while making me feel valued and cherished.
Respect, loyalty, trust and more. I want someone capable of taking care of me even though I can do it myself. Be patient and respectful. Women love a respectable guy who isn’t too overly into them or themselves. A little mystery is great.
What’s the sexiest thing a guy can do in the bedroom?
I am attracted to a man who is dominating and takes charge in the bedroom. His confidence and ability to lead really excite me, making me want to surrender and please him even more.
What’s your favourite sexual position?
Doggy style is definitely one of my favourite sexual positions. Whether it is standing doggy or on all fours, it really brings out our primal instincts. When I am on all fours and a man enters me from behind, it feels so naughty and animalistic I find it incredibly sexy to turn back and maintain eye contact while he is passionately taking me like a wild bull.
Lastly, when it comes to sex what would you rate yourself out of 10?
I don’t mean to sound arrogant, but I would consider myself a 9.5. I’m naturally inclined to please others and will go above and beyond to ensure that the guy has a great experience and gets more than he expected.
