Getting to know health and fitness fanatic, budding legal eagle and the always unapologetically herself, TARA GREEN…
Give us a little more background about yourself, Tara.
I grew up in and around Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and busted my buns to graduate high school early and seek independence. After I graduated, travelling was the first endeavour on my list, so I packed my bag and backpacked South East Asia for 13 weeks. I couldn’t get enough of Asia so I went back where I lived the simple life on Koh Phi Phi Island! I now teach Pilates – I took my instructor course through Barre Body Australia – and love anything Australian. I also love to learn and will be taking my paralegal degree once I touch down in Australia soon!
How do you feel about your photo shoot?
I feel that my photo shoot was a reminder to myself of how far I’ve come on my health and fitness journey thus far!
When do you feel sexy?
I feel sexiest with messy hair while wearing one of my Vancouver Canucks jerseys.
Nice. What is your best asset?
My smile and banter! Banter is my absolute love language, but if you dish it you’ve got to be able to take it, too!
What would people be most surprised to know about you?
Probably that I used to live in Thailand! As I said earlier, I backpacked South East Asia right before I turned 20 and apparently I was so much fun I got a job offer and went back a few years later to live on Koh Phi Phi Island.
What’s one thing men should always know about women?
Confidence and personality go a long way! There’s nothing sexier than a man with confidence, it reflects so much beauty on the outside.
What do you look for in a man?
Back to banter – that’s my soft spot for sure!
What have you learned about men over the years?
Men love a confident woman who can make them laugh. If you can make a man laugh, you’ve got them in the palm of your hand.
What can we get you at the bar?
I’ll have whatever he’s having.
Do you have a girl crush?
MEGAN. FOX. But, there’s so many. Margot Robbie is definitely my girl crush from Down Under!
What’s next for you?
I’m moving from Canada to Australia! I’ve wanted to ever since I was a kid and I finally bit the bullet and booked that one-way flight!
Where would you like to be in five years?
Continuing on my health and fitness journey while working in a law firm.
