The bungalows at LUX* South Ari Atoll are a dream come true, providing direct access to the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in the serene beauty of the surroundings. With seven exquisite restaurants, a tennis court, and a delightful gelato bar, the resort catered to every whim and desire, ensuring the models experienced the epitome of luxury. And adventure awaited just beyond the bungalows.
Our girls eagerly took to paddle boarding, gliding over the crystal-clear waters while marvelling at the vibrant marine life below. Reef sharks, an emblem of the Maldives’ underwater splendour, surrounded them, adding an exhilarating touch to their paddle boarding sessions. And as if on cue, majestic manta rays graced the models with their presence every evening at 7pm, performing mesmerising flips and showcasing their graceful movements at the jetty. The days certainly were filled with exploration and excitement and snorkelling in the deep blue sea was a highlight. Encountering a dazzling array of marine creatures, plus the thrill of swimming amidst colourful corals and schools of fish, was an experience we’ll cherish forever.

A Sunset DJ set the mood with infectious beats, creating the perfect ambiance for the models to unwind and dance the night away. While the outdoor cinema offered a unique theatrical experience under the stars, where the Destination MAXIM crew could relax and enjoy their favourite films with the soothing sound of waves in the background. One of the most memorable experiences was a cultural Maldivian traditional dinner. Our models immersed themselves in the rich heritage of the Maldives, savouring traditional dishes bursting with flavours unique to the region. The cultural evening was a feast for the senses, complete with traditional music and dance performances that showcased the beauty and artistry of Maldivian culture.
Throughout their stay, the girls effortlessly blended work and leisure. Each day presented new opportunities for content creation, with the stunning scenery of LUX* South Ari Atoll serving as the perfect canvas. The synergy of each of their creativity and the resort’s natural beauty resulted in the captivating images you see in the following pages, that embodied the essence of the Maldives.
