Such a great shoot Sarah, can you tell us a bit about it?
My outfits are all Oh Polly with jewellery that carry special memories for me. I also wanted to give the classy and tasteful vibes so that’s the image I was going for. On top of it I had the help of the best! @arthurstjohn @taylor_jazz @jasonhaiir

Are there any other funny anecdotes you can share about this shoot?
Well my best friend of years, Sarah was there being my cheerleader. So I’m truly blessed to have shared this special moment with her, as well as get her into MAXIM as a thank you for everything she’s done for me.

Have you ever been to New Zealand?
Just to Auckland for this shoot! The harbour was beautiful. Hopefully I’ll be back soon. I love island, beach vibes too. Bay of Islands looks beautiful.

When do you feel sexy and why?
I feel sexy when I’m closing deals and making money with my favourite person. It sounds crazy but that high of closing a contract or getting a deal done and sharing that high is the best feeling in the world.

What is your best asset? Physically and otherwise.
I feel like my best asset is my eyes. I love my eyes. I feel like they could say a thousand words if you look into them. Outside of that, I’m very easy going, hard worker, and I love to have conversations with meaningful impacts. They touch my soul.

Give us a little more background about yourself and your life story so far.
I was a competitive figure skater for over 15 years. I had two amazing coaches, Frank Carroll who recently passed away and Colleen Mickey who were nothing but amazing influences in my life. It taught me hard work and that you can do anything if you ask God and put your mind to it. On top of that I had amazing beautiful parents who made me who I am today. I’m truly grateful to each them for everything. They’re truly my best friends that I know I can always lean on that taught me true love and what I want someday. As well as I give all the glory to God for my life and any success I have.

What would people be most surprised to know about you?
I love to play piano, eat food and meditate. Piano is so soothing for me. Food is like a high. Sometimes I get put into a food coma. Meditation… I love to just pray and give thanks to God everyday at least three times.

How would you describe yourself in five words?
Loyal, loving, motivated, spiritual, & supportive.

How long have you been modelling and what would do if you weren’t modelling?
I actually started when I was a teenager for sportswear lines. Since then I’ve been doing little fun shoots here or there.

What do you look for in a man?
Someone that emulates the beautiful magical love my parents have. I’ve never ever seen my parents argue ever and I hope to find someone that treats me just as special as they do with each other.

Describe your ideal date.
A romantic, one-day spontaneous getaway. I’m a huge romantic. I love someone who understands that all I need is quality time. Just that special one on one time. For me it’s all about you taking that time to be with me and send me cute texts or send me cute items. I’m a romantic and I love to feel special. It means more than words can describe.

What have you learned about men over the years?
Sometimes it’s better to say less. Actions speak louder than words.

What’s one thing men should always know about women?
We’re all different. We all think different.

What can we get you at the bar?
San Pellegrino or a mocktail. I don’t drink alcohol. I never have and don’t plan on it.

What’s your best hidden talent?
I love to cook. Cooking a good lamb or steak and seeing people enjoy my food makes me so happy.

Do you have any phobias?
I hate boogers, fruit flies, and spiders. I have a weak stomach for those things. Def a girlie girl in those departments.

What’s the freakiest/weirdest thing someone has sent you via social media?
Someone requested to see my feet in a picture and they would pay for it. I blocked immediately.

What is your motto in life?
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

What’s next for you? Any exciting projects on the horizon you can share with us?
Currently I’m just building, growing, but most importantly I’m in the phase where I’m just focusing on spending it with my loved ones.

Finally, where would you like to be in five years?
I want to be living on the beach, with my dog, married to that special person, enjoying every day with them.

Are there any funny anecdotes you can share about this shoot?
I was so thankful my best friend Sarah, invited me to be a part of her MAXIM shoot. She is truly the most selfless person I have ever known. I really enjoyed spending the day with her, Arthur, Taylor, and Jason! Also, despite the sun beaming down on us in the heart of Auckland on a hot summer day, Arthur was able to articulate a position for me in the jungle/garden, which turned out incredible. He can make anything look amazing, I swear!

Do you have any phobias?
Black widow spiders, scorpions, and snakes

What’s your best hidden talent?
I really love to bake! Anything sweet.

What can we get you at the bar?
A Lychee Mocktail, or a Virgin Pina Colada, please!

What is your motto in life?
No matter what happens to you in life, or what crazy circumstances you go through, remain kind hearted, gracious, and understanding. Always love the people the way they love you ten fold. God sees all that we do, and blessings will always follow when you’re doing right by God.
