Katie, congrats on your MAXIM cover. How do you feel?
Thank you! I’m honestly blown away. It’s surreal to see myself on the cover of MAXIM. I never thought something like this would happen for a girl like me. It’s truly a humbling and exhilarating experience.
What do you love about this photo shoot?
I loved the creativity and energy on set. It was empowering to work with such a talented team.
Well, you look beautiful. When do you feel sexy?
I find my sexiest moments arise when I’m confident and at ease in my own skin. It’s about celebrating my authentic self and owning every aspect of who I am.
What is your best asset?
Physically, I’d say my most striking feature is my smile. Beyond appearances, my relentless determination and unwavering passion are undoubtedly my greatest assets.
Tell us a little more about your background and life story so far.
I’m living proof that dreams do come true. From my humble beginnings in Lemars, Iowa, I’ve chased my passions relentlessly, from modelling to acting and exploring the mysteries of the night sky. Now, I wake up each day living the life I’ve always dreamed of, ready to embrace whatever comes my way with open arms and a grateful heart.
As a celebrity hair & make-up artist, do you have any juicy stories to share?
Backstage is where the real magic happens, but confidentiality is key in my line of work. While I can’t spill any specifics, I can assure you, the entertainment industry is always full of surprises and unforgettable moments.
How did you get into modelling and what’s been your career highlight so far?
Modelling found me unexpectedly, but it became a journey filled with passion and self-discovery. Landing the cover of MAXIM magazine stands out as a highlight, reminding me that with dedication and belief in oneself, dreams can indeed become reality.
You’re also an actor – tell us more.
Acting has always been close to my heart. From my younger days, where I did background work for Disney, to now, where I’ve delved into indie films and theatre productions, it’s been a journey of discovering different characters and narratives, each leaving an indelible mark on my artistic soul.
You’re a self-proclaimed amateur astronomer, too. What fascinates you about this hobby?
The vastness of the universe and the mysteries it holds absolutely fascinate me. Astronomy is like exploring the ultimate unknown. The craziest and most mesmerising sight I’ve ever witnessed in the sky was a meteor shower that resembled fireworks on steroids. It was an awe-inspiring display that left me spellbound by the sheer beauty and wonder of the cosmos.
Pardon us while we get mushy, but do you believe that love is written in the stars?
Absolutely! While the stars may twinkle above, love’s true magic lies in the special connection shared between two hearts.
Describe your ideal man.
Someone who is kind, ambitious and shares my sense of adventure. A good sense of humour is a must! To capture my heart, authenticity, support and a good sense of humour are key. Bonus points go to someone who shows genuine interest in my passions and pursuits.
You have an impressive social media following. What’s the freakiest thing someone has sent you via your socials?
Imagine receiving a DM from someone claiming they spotted you once at a public event and now believe you’re destined to be together. It’s a mix of flattering and a tad bit creepy, isn’t it?
Hmmm. So, would you ever date one of your followers?
While I’m grateful for the support of my followers, I like to keep things playful and light hearted. As for dating one of my Instagram followers, well, let’s just say stranger things have happened in the world of love!
How do you keep your Instagram audience coming back for more?
I try to keep things authentic and engaging, sharing snippets of my life and things I’m passionate about. Plus, interacting with my followers is key.
When you’re not posing for MAXIM, working, modelling or on social media, what else would we find you doing in your everyday life?
When I’m not gracing the pages of MAXIM or pursuing my career ambitions, I’m all about embracing life’s adventures. You might find me hosting lively parties with friends, jet-setting to exotic destinations or simply immersing myself in new experiences. And of course, quality time with loved ones is always high on my agenda, along with exploring new hobbies and passions.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given and by who?
It’s from my mum, “Believe in yourself and never give up.” These words have been my guiding light, reminding me to stay resilient and unwavering in the pursuit of my dreams. They serve as a constant reminder that with self-belief and perseverance, anything is possible.
What’s one thing men should always remember about women?
That we’re individuals with our own thoughts, feelings and experiences. Respect and communication are key in any relationship.
Finally, what’s next for you? Any exciting upcoming projects you can share with us?
Well, I’m gearing up for some exciting modelling gigs and auditioning for roles that excite me. And of course, I’ll continue my commitment to giving back through charity work, because for me, it’s all about striving for greatness and leaving a positive mark on the world.
