Tell us a bit about yourself and life story so far, Jayde.
I am originally from Manchester, England and I moved to Australia with my best friend back in 2016. I was ready for a new chapter and wanted to explore and try new experiences. Moving here turned out to be the best decision of my life! During my time in Australia, I’ve pursued further education and obtained human resources, business and graphic design qualifications at college. My journey has been dotted with varied job roles across different sectors in between my travels, and I have spent most of my time here living in the Bondi bubble in Sydney – absolutely living the dream!
Describe yourself in five words?
Fun, adventurous, bubbly, spontaneous, kind.
What do you love most about yourself?
I feel that I radiate loving, contagious energy to others. I have a very happy, bubbly personality and like to see the light in everything and the good in everyone. I’m a social butterfly and I’m very grateful for how many amazing friends I have. Physically, I love my eyes – they shift from blue to green in different lighting.
What’s the first things you do when you get up in the morning?
I love having a fresh juice in the morning, then I’ll head out for a walk or do a gym class.
What is one of your weird quirks?
I’d say this would be my mispronunciation of words – I really struggle with this one. My friends say I have my own language, which they all understand!
What’s the first thing you notice when it comes to the opposite gender?
He would have a nice smile and gorgeous eyes. Also, someone who has good energy.
Describe your ideal boyfriend.
He must be someone I have a special connection with, and he is kind, loyal and funny. Plus, he loves to travel.
What’s the most attractive quality in a man?
I look for someone who can make me laugh, for sure, who is also ambitious and knows what they want in life.
What impresses you on a first date?
I love it when a guy is confident, is a gentleman, very polite and has good manners. Also, someone who puts effort into the date by taking charge and organising.
What advice would you give a man?
Understand the importance of great communication. Be authentic, genuine and honest.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
Chocolate. I also can’t beat a night in with a cheese board and a glass of red wine. Oh, and I love Harry Potter. Yes, I’m a geek!
What is something new happening in your life right now?
I’ve booked a trip to Thailand next month, which I’m very excited about, as I have never been. I’m fairly new to the modelling industry, so I’m very excited to see what is in store for me soon. Being on the cover of MAXIM is an absolute dream. I never ever imagined having this opportunity – I am very grateful.
Lastly, what’s one major thing you want to accomplish by the end of this year?
After studying graphic design, it’s my goal to create my own business around this – combining both my studies and passion. Stay tuned!
