Time to get more acquainted with registered nurse, caregiver and promising model MARISSA ROBERSON…
Tell us a bit about yourself, Marissa.
I’m currently a registered nurse specialising in critical care, residing in the USA. I made the decision to transition from nurse management in a level two trauma PACU to a position where I provide one-on-one care for a 26-year-old patient who requires ventilator support. Additionally, I have been a caregiver for an elderly man for the past 13 years. I’m truly passionate about my work and find great fulfillment in caring for others. Outside of my nursing career, I have always had an interest in photography and modelling. To be a published model has been one of my biggest passions since I was a little girl.
What would people be the most surprised to learn about you?
I absolutely love learning about quantum physics and astrophysics. I also love skiing, ice-skating and playing the piano.
What’s your best asset?
My intelligence, creativity, kindness, determination and empathy. I’m a very positive person and enjoy looking at each situation with a glass half full mentality. Physically, my eyes are my best asset as eyes are so unique from person to person.
When do you feel sexy?
It’s important to remember that feeling sexy should come from
within and reflect your own self-confidence and self-love. I feel sexy when I’m dressed up and around like-minded individuals – it’s when I can embrace my own unique qualities and celebrate my body and personality.
Describe your ideal man.
Someone who is a great communicator and active listener. Effective communication is essential for building a strong and healthy relationship. I look for someone who has high emotional intelligence who manages his own emotions while also being empathetic. I also look for respect and trustworthiness.
Describe your ideal date:
It doesn’t need to be extravagant. I’d love to go to a cozy restaurant with our favorite food and after dinner take a leisurely stroll hand-in-hand by a scenic waterfront or in a park. Anything that allows us to have a deeper connection and just enjoy each other’s company.
What have you learned about men throughout the years?
Men have their own unique personalities, interests and experiences. I can’t generalise all men, but I’ve seen some common traits and experiences that are often associated with masculinity, such as physical strength, assertiveness and a tendency to take on leadership roles. As Cher once said, “I love men. I think they are the coolest. But you don’t need them to live”.
What’s one thing a guy should always remember about women?
That we are individuals with various experiences. Each woman is different and should be seen and respected as an individual. It’s important to listen, communicate, and approach women with empathy, respect and equality. By recognising and appreciating the diversity among women, men can foster meaningful and respectful relationships with them.
What’s your motto in life?
“Happiness is a journey, not a destination”. Reminds us that true happiness comes from enjoying the process of life and finding joy in the little moments along the way.
Where would you like to be in five years?
I have plans on starting my own medical company within the next few years and would also like to be actively working as a model.
What’s next for you?
I travel a lot when I get breaks from work and publish photos on my social media. I’ll be travelling soon to Miami, Europe and Mexico. Travelling makes my soul happy!
