Welcome to MAXIM, Josie. Tell us a bit about your photo shoot.
I was staying overseas at Qasr Al Sarab, a stunning resort in Abu Dhabi, and I was inspired by this location – a luxurious villa with awe-inspiring colours of the sand. Although I usually pre-plan all my shoots, this one was spontaneous and super fun.
When do you feel sexy?
I feel sexy when I slip on a brand-new outfit with a pair of heels and head out with some girlfriends. There’s something feminine and sexy about looking and feeling your best – confidence is sexy!
What is your best asset?
I’ve always been very fit and toned, so my healthy body is my best assist. Aside from this, I think my mentality is one of my best assets. I’ve always been so positive – it’s as if there is nothing I can’t do!
Give us a little more info about yourself.
I’ve had a pretty exciting life so far. I moved to Australia when I was 19, fell in love with it and I’m still here many years later. I did move to Denmark for a year, but I just felt like Australia was home. I’ve spent a lot of time overseas, as I love to travel, but on a day-to-day basis I love to workout, catch up with friends and then head home for a snuggle with my dog.
What would people be most surprised to know about you?
I love to read – a lot! I’m a bit of a book worm.
What do you look for in a man?
I’m certainly not looking for the perfect man and I don’t really have a type, but I love a man in touch with his feelings, who shows you love, affection and can make me laugh.
What have you learned about men over the years?
I adore men! I think there is a misconception in society on how men are and how they should act. Behind every man is a caring, loving and sensitive side.
What’s one thing men should always know about women?
We love foreplay! And keep it straight, tell us how you feel. We like that!

Sounds generic but I love a candlelight dinner with soft music in the background.

I’ll take a spicy margarita, thanks!
Who is your girl crush?
I LOVE Adriana Lima – she is all style, sophistication and class – a stunning lady.
What is your motto in life?
Let go of who you think you’re supposed to be and embrace who you are.
What’s next for you? Any exciting projects on the horizon you can share with us?
I do have a few exciting projects and new business adventures that I am embarking on. I don’t want to spoil anything, but I do enjoy being business savvy.
Where would you like to be in five years?
Oh, great question. I would love for my modelling career to take off, hopefully I can be published in a few places! I would also love to own my second property somewhere on the coast and live a coastal life with my dog.
