Time to acquaint yourself with Russian-born beauty and one of MAXIM Australia’s finest stars Valeria Sizova…
My favourite thing about my Russian heritage is…
Rich ancient history, multifaceted culture and our passionate, hard-working and talented people who are prominent figures in the world of sport, ballet, painting and classical music. I also love the fact that anytime I want to sound more authoritative and get everyone’s attention, I just switch on my Russian accent and people listen twice as attentive.
One thing people would be surprised to find out about me is…
Despite my highly-busy social life, I am a total homebody.
When i’m not posing for Maxim or on social media i’m…
Running my dance company, creating choreography and producing shows to the artistic community of Australia.
My dream job would be…
What I’m already doing. I love modelling, dancing, running a dance company… But going off topic, I came across a guy who presented himself as a “chick sexer”. For a moment I thought it was his pick-up line of the night, until I Googled it and found out he is someone who determines the sex of chickens.
The best way to relax is…
The Russian way – naked sauna session followed by jumping in a cold pool, or the snow, for a quick cool down. And no, it’s not intended to kill you, there are heaps of health benefits by doing a sauna bath with a cold-plunging routine, like increased blood flow, boosting the immune system, reducing stress, improving sleep… so you are pretty much becoming a better version of yourself.
The first thing I notice about a man is…
His shoes – they have to be clean. The rest is negotiable.
A guy can really impress me by…
His witty sense of humour.
The best thing in life is…
The ability to wake up each morning and know you have the whole day ahead of you to do life!
Some of the goals I still want to achieve this year are…
I’m working on a new concept for women by running active, fun, entertaining tours for ladies after which they are coming back inspired, motivated, fitter both physically and mentally and ready to conquer this world. And, of course, being on a MAXIM cover – I’m only a few pages away this time!
Money or love?
You can earn money but never love!
Looks or personality?
Team personality. Looks can surely get attention but not for a long run. We all end up in team personality once we get old, so let’s be wiser sooner than later.
Text or call?
Definitely a text. I feel like I’m “legally” covered with any conversations that took place in writing and I can always come back to it for cross reference – unless it’s a close friend or family member.
Success or happiness?
Happiness! Who wants success when by the end of the day you feel miserable?
Morning or night?
Night. Been an owl all my life – and let’s agree all fun happens at night time!
Movies or music?
My life is heavily influenced by music. Music when I’m home or training, when I need to calm down or concentrate and get ready for a big day ahead… and a properly planned playlist can do wonders when you need a bit of motivation and inspiration.
Spring or summer?
Summer! I even had to move countries and continents to get some more warm days in my life!
Boobs or bum?
Boobs. We can train the bum in the gym, but boobs are either given to you by luck, genes or your surgeon.
Reality shows or documentaries?
Both. If feel inspired I will watch some interesting documentaries. If I feel depressed and unhappy, I switch on some reality show and realise my life isn’t too bad compared to the dramas these guys have to go through!
See the future or change the past?
None! Life is not fun and adventurous enough if we know we can fix all the mistakes we do in our path, and knowing the future is way too demotivating for our daily lives. We can’t be fixated on the past or future, we have to live in a moment with no regrets and excitement ahead of us.
