Time to get acquainted with gorgeous model, actor, former champion bodybuilder and Las Vegas showgirl MARIAH RIVERA…
Tell us a bit about yourself and life story so far, Mariah.
I am from Grand Junction, Colorado USA. I grew up dancing – since I was two years old I focussed on ballet, tap, and jazz five days a week, until I was in high school. I also focussed my energy on being an All-State basketball player, State Champion bodybuilder Junior Division and Varsity in volleyball and track. I was also Valedictorian and Prom Queen until I moved to Las Vegas to pursue my dream as being a Las Vegas showgirl. Dancing evolved into acting and modelling, when I was 18, and since then I’ve been living the dream here in Vegas starring in multiple shows and meeting so many amazing performers and entertainers along the way. I’m currently in my dream job in one of the greatest production shows of all time, Fantasy at Luxor, where I have climbed my way to the top as the lead dancer, company manager and co-producer! I’ve been very fortunate and blessed to be surrounded by amazing people and can’t wait to add new and exciting things to my life!
What would people be most surprised to know about you?
I’m a tomboy and love sports and getting dirty.
You look great in this photo shoot. When do you feel sexy?
I feel the sexiest when I’m dancing on stage at Fantasy at the Luxor in Las Vegas!
What is your best asset?
I think my smile. It lights up my soul when I smile!
What do you dislike about social media?
Making others feel insecure. I try to always build up others but only posting the “good times” is not the whole truth of someone’s life.
Would you ever date one of your followers?
I would, but it would also depend on their personality.
What do you look for in a man?
I look for a man who can make me laugh and keep up with me. My life moves fast and needs someone very secure in their own selves.
How can a man win his way to your heart?
Make me laugh and make my life easier, not harder.
Describe your ideal date.
Making me a homemade dinner, long conversations with wine, then “watching a movie” but not paying attention to the movie ;).
What have you learnt about men over the years?
They are just as sensitive as women, and to allow them to feel their feelings without being shamed.
What’s one thing men should always know about women?
To be kind! And try to make us laugh.
Where’s the best place you’ve travelled?
I love Mexico or any beach!
Have you ever been to Australia?
Not yet, but I can’t wait! Australia has always been on my bucket list and I just need to plan it!
Besides koalas and kangaroos, what else do you know about Australia?
I know that it’s GORGEOUS and… your toilets flush backwards.
What’s one thing you’d change about the world?
The pressure to be “perfect”. We set ourselves up for failure instantly if we expect everything to be perfect.
What’s next for you?
Just currently living my dream in Las Vegas as a showgirl – it’s amazing and I’m so blessed to get to perform to sold-out crowds every night!
