Welcome to MAXIM, Valerie. Tell us a bit about yourself and life story.
Thank you. I feel like I’ve lived many lives already but I’m in an amazing place with a great support system around me now. I love my little family and we make life fun all of the time by travelling, throwing events and just being there for each other. My life didn’t start out this way, but all the places I’ve been along the way have led me to where I am now.
Great photo shoot. Where are you?
The shoot was done in Miami Beach, it has the most beautiful white sand and the shots always turn out amazing. It’s one of my favourite places in the world.
Well you look amazing! When do you feel you’re at your sexiest?
I feel most sexy when everything is on point — hair, make-up, clothing and even fitness and diet. I’m definitely not a low maintenance girl. 😉
What would people be most surprised to know about you?
People would be most surprised by my sense of humour, which they wouldn’t expect from a girl who looks like me, right?
What is your best asset?
Physically, I would say my eyes. Otherwise, maybe my humour.
What’s one thing men should always know about women?
Girls want to feel like a princess.
What do you look for in a man?
I love a super-driven, handsome guy with a great sense of humour as well — it’s what I’m most compatible with. Being spoiled is nice, too.
Describe your ideal date.
A night where I feel sexy and have a five-star meal with my man. I do love good food.
What can we get you to drink with the good food?
At the bar I’ll usually take a vodka soda with a lime or a skinny margarita, but I’ve been really into champagne lately.
What have you learnt about men over the years?
I’ve learnt that men need lots of compliments, and food. Most are very competitive, too.
Who is your girl crush?
I have so many girl crushes. The female body and face is just so beautiful to look at. Some of my favourite models are some of the real classics like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Irina Shayk, they are so elegant and cool. ■
