There have been many ups and downs in the Australian festival scene over the last few years and for every Playground Weekender and Good Vibrations that bites the dust, emerging new events targeting fresh audiences are really getting some traction. Joining success stories like Laneway and Harvest is Soundwave, which throws its horns and flashes its tits over a seething mass off stone-cold rockers.
