There’s a lot to love about this girl next door turned clinical psychologist and model on a mission. You’re welcome…
Congrats on your debut MAXIM cover, Abbie. How do you feel?
I feel amazing! I’ve never done this before, so it was really fun. I really enjoyed the aesthetic we created for the shoot – it was elegant and complimented my personal style beautifully. Having the opportunity to express my femininity in this way really made the experience.
You look great. When do you feel sexy?
Nothing beats the feeling of coming home after a beach day, sun-kissed and refreshed, and getting ready for a night out – it’s like an instant confidence boost.
What is your best asset?
My eyes are definitely my secret weapon.
Tell us a little more about yourself, your background and life so far.
Before moving to Sydney from the UK, five years ago, I completed my master’s degree in clinical psychology. I’ve always been fascinated by the science behind human behaviour – it’s incredible how much you can understand about people when you really pay attention. Those skills come in handy in every aspect of life. Since being in Australia, I’ve danced my way across the country, living in the moment and embracing every experience. Now, I’m drawn to something deeper – creating a life that feels just as exciting but with a little more balance, a little more meaning.
What would people be surprised to learn about you?
Believe it or not, I’m a crypto nerd – maybe because it’s just as hard to predict as I am!
How do you keep your social media audience engaged and coming back for more?
I don’t try too hard – that’s the secret. I share what feels right, what excites me and what makes me feel good. I think people are drawn to authenticity, and a little confidence never hurts either.
What’s the weirdest thing someone has sent you via social media?
I don’t get weird social media messages. A few marriage proposals and gifts here and there, that’s about it. If anything, that’s endearing.
Describe your ideal man.
Confidence is everything. There’s something about a man who carries himself with quiet power – someone who doesn’t need to dominate a room but naturally owns it. I’m drawn to the kind of energy that makes people feel at ease yet keeps them on their toes. A man who knows what he wants, isn’t afraid to show it, and sees me as someone who naturally fits into his world. The right kind of presence speaks louder than words – and that’s what I find most attractive.
How can a guy possibly win his way to your heart?
I love a man who’s intentional – someone who doesn’t just say how he feels but shows it in multiple ways.
What have you learned about men over the years?
I’ve learned that men crave certainty, but the right kind of mystery keeps them hooked.
When you’re not posing for MAXIM or on social media, what else would we find you doing in your everyday life?
You’ll probably find me exploring somewhere new. I have a serious case of wanderlust, but only the kind that comes with a little luxury. Whether it’s escaping to Europe in the winter to visit family and enjoy the snow, flying somewhere spontaneous with friends or experiencing the best music and culture in different places – I rarely stay in one spot for long. Having the freedom to go anywhere whenever I feel like it is something I’ll never take for granted.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given and by whom?
From my mum. She always told me not to take life too seriously and to never settle. She reminded me that in your 20s you often feel like you should have everything figured out, but the truth is you’re still so young. There’s no rush, no rulebook – just enjoy the ride and trust that everything will fall into place.
What’s next? Any exciting projects on the horizon you can share with us?
Right now, I have no set plans – I’m completely open to whatever comes my way. Whether it’s travel, work or something unexpected, that’s the best part of my life – I never know what’s around the corner and I love it this way. The only plan is to say yes to the right opportunities and see where they take me.
