The W South Beach in Miami, Florida USA was the epicentre of American glamour and excitement as Sports Illustrated Swimsuit recently celebrated its 60th anniversary with a runway show that was the hottest ticket at Miami Swim Week. Over 1,500 guests, including influencers, celebrities and VIPs, flocked to witness this landmark event.

The evening kicked off in high style with a star-studded red carpet. Among the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit talent making stunning arrivals were Achieng Agutu, Brooks Nader, Camille Kostek, Christen Harper, Ellie Thumann, Hunter McGrady, Jena Sims, Kamie Crawford, Katie Austin, Lauren Chan, Nicole Williams English and Penny Lane. They were joined by Abbie Herbery, Haley and Hanna Cavinder, Jilly Anais, Lele Pons and Sarah Nicole Landry, all adding an extra spark to the night.
The runway show began with a bang as Alix Earle, the brand’s first digital edition cover model, made a surprise entrance with her sisters. The family theme continued with basketball twins Haley and Hanna Cavinder also strutting down the catwalk together. Brooks Nader stunned the audience by revealing that her brunette locks were actually a wig crafted by celebrity stylist Chris Appleton. The latest trends in swimwear from brands like Lain Snow, the Sports Illustrated Swimwear line and Knix were showcased on the runway, setting the tone for the American summer season’s beachwear fashion.

The party didn’t stop there; the VIP after-party at WALL Lounge kept the energy high. Guests danced the night away, sipping on refreshing drinks from Poppi and wrapping up an unforgettable night in Miami. For those who missed it, this event wasn’t just about swimwear; it was a celebration of beauty, style, diversity and the enduring legacy of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.
