The exotic babe from the controversial Ultra Tune ads returns to MAXIM to talk working with Mike Tyson, people offering to be her slave, her big plans for 2018 and much more…
Hello, Parnia, congrats on your third MAXIM cover. How does it feel?
Thank you. I feel like I finally accomplished my goal of the trifecta — what an achievement!
What did you love most about this photo shoot?
I really loved the fact we were on a luxury yacht. It was so amazing to be enjoying the ocean whilst shooting at the same time. I just kept thinking how lucky I am that my office is on the water for the day!
What have you been up to since we last saw you?
Well, I’ve spent three months in America working with some of the most amazing photographers, as well as starring in some music videos and, of course, filming the latest Ultra Tune TV commercials.
You filmed the new Ultra Tune ad, featuring Mike Tyson, in Las Vegas. Tell us more.
The Ultra Tune crew and I filmed this one until all hours of the morning and we had an absolute blast. I think we were all a little star struck that we got to film with one of the best boxers in history – just being in his presence was amazing.
What was it like working with Mike Tyson compared to Jean-Claude Van Damme, who featured in the previous Ultra Tune ad?
Mike Tyson was definitely more chilled, but they both had their own sort of swag which was cool. He loved the fact I have had my own professional boxing fights and definitely took a liking to me after that.
Do you still have to deal with all the controversy surrounding these Ultra Tune commercials?
Because we are the most complained about TVC of 2017, according to The Project, I do believe there is some controversy, although I never let it get to me. People will always have something to say about anything and the most important thing is that us girls love doing what we do and continue to do so.
Tell us something that we wouldn’t know about you.
Well, as much as I always love to be glam, I still enjoy the fact that I’m rough around the edges in some ways — I’m very down to earth and can hold a conversation with almost anyone. I love to jump into things and get out of my comfort zone. I always surprise myself.
What’s the freakiest thing someone has sent you via social media?
Just people telling me they’d do anything to be my slave — like, literally calling themselves my slave. Quote: “Parnia, I will be your slave, carry your shopping bags, do any household chores, etc…” I find it’s better if you don’t reply to those ones.
Hmmm, righto then. So, how will you be spending Valentine’s Day?
Hopefully in something red and tight, I hate to say it but I think it’s cute when you’re dressed a little themed on an occasion.
What’s the best way for a man to win his way to your heart?
I like a man with some charisma, rough around the edges and super-well groomed.
If you had to take MAXIM out on a date what would it entail?
It’s hard to pick a specific thing to do with MAXIM but I really enjoy hiking as a first option, because I’m creative – I’d love to take you on a personal scavenger hunt. I’d also probably take you guys to a concert.
Nice one, thanks. What’s your New Year’s resolution?
It would be to stop looking back, keep moving forward and remember that nothing comes easy. Sometimes I’ve been so blessed in my life that I can become lazy and too comfortable, but you always have to stay awake.
What else do you really hope to achieve in 2018?
My goals are so big for 2018 I plan to achieve them one by one. I’m always on top of my music game, and training is still definitely an important part of my life, but I also hope to score something big in the United States — as you guys know that’s always been a big dream of mine and I will do my best to achieve it.
